How many questions on each test?
Personality – 70
Cognitive – 30 (timed)
Attitudes – 140

Can any of the tests be shortened?
Certain scales (computer misuse, sexual harassment, substance abuse) for the Attitudes profile can be turned off lowering the number of questions by 45 or 50 questions. The Cognitive and Personality assessments cannot be changed.

How long will it take for an applicant to take all three tests?
It should take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete all three assessments.  The Cognitive test is timed to stop at 7 minutes.

Can you remove the language choice (English or Spanish)?
Yes, the language choice can be limited.

Is it difficult to set up the assessment on our computer?
The assessment is accessed through an online testingport so you won’t need to install any software on your computer. When you purchase the assessment you will receive an Admin Password and a link to the testingport. You can creat a desktop shortcut on a dedicated computer in your ofiice, you can email the applicant a participant invitation or you can create a link on your website to the assessment. 

How long will it take to get the results?
Once an applicant has completed the assessment you will receive immediate email notification and then you can log into your account to see their assessment reports.

What if an applicant can’t complete one of the tests?
If an applicant runs out of time and can’t finish the test you can log back into your account and get their ID number. Their participant code will show that one of the tests was not completed. The participant can then go back into that test and complete it.

Does retention improve?
Yes, by using the assessments in the process (keeping in mind that assessments are only one part of the selection process) clients average improving retention rates by 10% - 25% over time.

How will I know when the one year license is set to expire?
When you are logged into your account and there are only 30 days remaining on your license, an expiration notice will show up in the top right corner of the screen in red and will continue to count down daily. In order to continue using the assessments without interruption, you will need to contact Diane West at Diane@leadinghomecare.com or 502/339-0653 and she will renew your account. You will need to let her know if you wish to receive an invoice or pay with a credit card. Also, she will need to know your average number of employees (total checks written over last four pay periods, then divide by four).
